Dallas Muthard CRNP
Dallas Muthard, MSN, CRNP
Dallas Muthard is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner and a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, she attended Ursuline Academy where she developed her passion for the sciences. Pursuing her interest in healthcare and biology, she attended La Salle University on a full Christian Brother's Academic Scholarship. She graduated magna cum laude from the University Honor's Program with her BSN and a minor in English. During her undergraduate career, she gained valuable clinical experience through her work as a member of the float team at Cape Regional Medical Center. Additionally, she completed an externship on the cardiac critical care unit at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
While at LaSalle, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing, and the Honor Society of Alpha Epsilon. Dallas was awarded the 2009 Student Activity Achievement Award for her service and significant contributions to the LaSalle community and served on the Executive Board of the La Salle Ambassadors. She was a university writing fellow and tutored a variety of science courses. She is most proud of her work with Peer Educators, a group dedicated to promoting mental health and positive lifestyle choices both on and off campus.
Dallas Muthard completed her graduate education at the University of Pennsylvania in the Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program. Her clinical experiences at UPenn afforded Dallas exposure to a wide variety of pediatric populations both in and beyond Philadelphia. She studied under a range of physicians and nurse practitioners and gained an abundant skill set in urban clinics, suburban private practices, and emergency rooms. Dallas especially enjoyed her time rounding in the newborn nursery at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She completed her final graduate clinical at Advocare Main Line Pediatrics. She fell in love with the philosophy of the practice and its overwhelming dedication to its patients. She was thrilled to join the practice shortly after her graduation. Dallas has a special interest in working with the newborn populations as well as developmental pediatrics. When not at work, Dallas enjoys the music and cultural experiences of living in center city Philadelphia and weekend trips to her family home in Avalon, New Jersey where she enjoys swimming and surfing.
