Joshua A. Rabinowitz, DO
Dr. Joshua Rabinowitz received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Vermont and his doctor of osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia of Osteopathic Medicine. Since completing his residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in 1992, he has been practicing general pediatrics on the Main Line in suburban Philadelphia.
Dr. Rabinowitz has served as Division Chief, Newborn Nurseries at Main Line Health System since 1998, and is a member of the Pediatric Executive Committee for Main Line Health and the Strategic Planning Committee for the Nemours/Bryn Mawr Hospital affiliation. In addition to being an adjunct faculty member and preceptor for third and fourth-year medical students from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, he has been a preceptor for pediatric residents from the A.I. duPont Children's Hospital and a preceptor for nurse practitioner students from the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University Schools of Nursing. He is on the active staff of the Main Line Health Hospitals (Lankenau, Bryn Mawr and Paoli Memorial) and is an affiliate staff member of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Rabinowtiz has also been interviewed by local TV news stations on topics ranging from "back to school preparedness" to the "influenza epidemic" to "ADHD and Michael Phelps." He lives in Mt. Airy and is the proud father of three wonderful children.
