Rachel Michalek is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Masters’s degree from Villanova University where she studied primary care and her undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the PA-Delaware Valley National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners where she sits on the Community Outreach Committee.
 
Previously, Rachel worked for The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for thirteen years as a registered nurse, spending most of her time caring for infants transitioning out of intensive care. In doing so Rachel developed a passion for educating and empowering families to care for their infants as well as a love for patient continuity.  Advocare allows Rachel to continue to care for the pediatric population she loves while working closely with families and caregivers as their child grows and develops into young adulthood.
 
A lifelong resident of Chester County, Rachel lives in Valley Forge with her husband and is a proud mom of five busy children. She loves to spend her free time watching their sporting events, taking epic family walks, and traveling to new places!
