Masks are now optional

As we enter Spring, we are encouraged that circulating viral rates continue to decline. In accordance with CDC and local public health guidance, we are pleased to announce that while rates remain low our offices will now be “Mask Optional”.
Dear Advocare families –

As we enter Spring, we are encouraged that circulating viral rates continue to decline. In accordance with CDC and local public health guidance, we are pleased to announce that while rates remain low our offices will now be “Mask Optional”.

What does this mean for our staff and families?
  • Families and staff will have the option to wear a mask or not. If you are more comfortable continuing to mask please do so. You will see many of our providers masking (especially during sick hours) because they are quite happy not to bring so many germs home from work!
  • Families may request that staff caring for their child wear a mask. We are happy to honor your request.
  • Likewise, if you are sick or symptomatic, consider masking. This is a great way to protect others from what is making you ill.
CDC-published Community Transmission rates will be reviewed weekly and our masking policy will be updated accordingly. If infection rates become “high” you will see signs at the entrance requesting that you mask. Please do so without argument so that we may continue to lift the requirement whenever possible.

It’s been a wild three years and we are ever so grateful to our wonderful patients who made continuing to provide healthcare to our community possible and rewarding. Onward to health and warmer weather!
