Scheduling Your Visit

Good healthcare for newborns, infants, children and adolescents begins with the well-child visit (check up) and other services that keep children healthy. We provide these services based on a plan called Bright Futures. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) designed this plan to help pediatricians and families know what types of preventive services children should receive from birth to 21 years of age. The current recommendation is for children to be seen at the following ages:

Infancy:

3-5 days old (1-2 days after discharge from the hospital)

1, 2, 4, 6 and 9 months

Early Childhood:

12, 15 and 18 months

24 and 30 months

3 and 4 years

Middle Childhood and Adolescence:

Once a year or every 12 months

Our schedules are open one year in advance. We encourage  you to schedule as far ahead as possible (at least two weeks) so you may request a day and time that works best for you.
